H&R Block at 560 U.S. 79 Ste 400, Hutto, Texas.

I have been using H&R Block for the last 15 years, and thanks to the way I was handled these last two years at this site I will no longer be using H&R Block. I strongly recommend you go somewhere else if you would like to be treated with at least the smallest amount of respect and service. I brought my tax information at my scheduled apt time. I had lots of questions because so many things took place in 2014, Things like owning a home and un-reimbursed work expenses along with the simple family expenses.During the process the woman who was doing my taxes had to check with I'm guessing one of the more senior prepare-rs at this location. This was in part because of the deductions I was trying to claim for un reimbursed expenses from my job. So they sent me on my way until she could figure out the best way to file my taxes and would call me back when they had it figured out. I did receive a call back quickly and the expected return was far lass then we were expecting which is fine, but it didn't seem to add up. When i asked why is it so low and could you explain it to me? the response i got was " well that's what it is" uhmmm ok.... So then I did what some people might do with that response.. "Ok let me check in with my wife and I'll call you back." Yes I'm that guy, refer back to the better half of my life before I let the good ol boy out. but then I got another call back from the Tax rep and she said the return amount was incorrect and it was a little higher now.. uhm ok...so Can you explain to me why? because our tax returns in the past were typically much higher.. so I go over some details and she discovers something was left unchecked on there software and the tax return goes up even more.. so now I've received 3 different amounts for a tax return. Ok .. this is not instilling one bit of confidence in me so I decide to go back and get our w2 information back and go somewhere else. So I drive down walk in and ask to collect my w2's back and that I'm just really not happy with the amounts. ALL I WANTED WAS MY w2's back! thats it. They call someone else up to "help me" This woman gets up looks at me and the stops to have a conversation with another co-worker.. so I know shes acknowledged that they have a client waiting for help (me) but doesn't say I'll be right with you or anything just carries on her conversation. ooookaaay... she finally comes over and I tell her, I'd just like my w2's back, and she starts to explain that I can't claim some deductions. So we go on for a few minutes about why I cant understand, hoping maybe she could explain it better so that I could understand it.. Instead what I get is.. You can't compare your taxes in the past...and I don't know why your refund is what it is. THEN WHY THE HELL AM I BRINGING MY TAXES TO YOU!!! Keep in mind i am just asking questions and trying to explain why i don't understand whats going on. So at this point i realize this woman is not interested in helping me understand my taxes.. she simply wants to dismiss me and go on with her day. so instead of continuing the conversation, I again ask to receive my w2's and ill be on my merry way. The woman says we need to see your ID before we can give you your w2s... uhm you just stood here and discussed the information on my w2's without seeing my ID... but now you want to see my ID? really?? ID SHOWN. collected w2's .. I say thank you and have a good day, and what I get is a dismissive glance and no response.. THATS MY STORY.. and I'm TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT HOW YOU TREATED ME!!
